Fronts and especially weak pasterns concerned me, as does the width across the pelvis in some, thus giving really close hocks. Nice to see a variance in markings and well-presented clean jackets. Heads had a wide variety of shapes, also several loose in flews. Sadly one went lame in its second class so was unable to place.

1st: CHURCH, Miss Claire & BAMFORD, Mr Richard Pafaxen High In The Sky 8 mths lad developing well. Ample bone for his size. Skull and muzzle proportions and bite and pigment all ok at this stage Expressive kind eye of nice shape. Moderate angles to front, chest has depth. Well boned front legs, pasterns need to strengthen slightly. Top line was good, as was tail set. Thighs starting to muscle, tidy hocks and double dew claws. Once in a decent stride with handler he moved out to show a decent gait. Just needs to all come together with practice and should do well. BP and shortlisted in the Pastoral Puppy group.
2nd: BAVERSTOCK, Mrs Y & BAVERSTOCK, Mr Ian Kalkasi Simply Super 10 mths Made a nice shape on the stand. Skull and muzzle in proportion good pigment and eye shape. Ample bone for his size, chest still needs time to develop for width and depth. Coming towards front action showed pasterns need to strengthen as does his rear action going away. Desired double dewclaws.

Short neck, fits into shoulders, like more width across chest and depth of brisket. Moving away was close in hock but does have double dewclaws, coming towards his front was close and highlighted weakness in pasterns.
