Crufts 2024

Thank you so much to the Royal Kennel club for invite to judge Crufts 2024, in my view the best dog show in the world. Also a massive thank you to all exhibiters and people that came to support our breed, from the uk and from abroad, while overall quality was great, empty lower classes is worrying. I found a few were overweight, please watch this as it effects them in later life, to see the Pyrenean awarded 2nd in a strong group to the Best in show winner was amazing.

1 Holmes Ch Lisjovia Estevez JW ShCM ShCEx A 7 and a half year old male. A pleasing head, good pigmentation, correct ear placement, he has great size and substance good length of back that is muscular and straight, light on his feet for a big dog, strong hocks and pasterns, he moves with drive from the rear, has reach from his forequarters, a dog with noble bearing, coat of coarse and thick texture, tail reaching below the hocks thick at top and tapering down, moved well.
2 Cubello Night Owl. 7 year old slightly smaller in frame than one, nothing can be taken away from this boy, beautiful head correct eye shape and colour, his head definitely is a blunt V, correct size for overall dog, body in good condition, correct covering over rib, moved stylish looking up at his owner and turned out in lovely condition,
3 Duffell Ricaduffal Draco star 7 year old coloured dog, the colour didn’t go down to the root, great pigmentation, nice eye colour and shape, good bone, ribs were rounded and went well back, good weight, front and rear angulation good, this coat was coarse and thick with correct coat forming a mane around his neck and shoulders moved steady.

1 Kiss, Thorwysh Du Neouvielle I really liked this 15 month old lad, his temperament was wonderful, so happy and full of fun as they should be at his age, I would love to see him in the future, beautiful head not to large to his size of him, equal in length occiput to stop, almond shape eyes, small ears, good pigment, body broad and reaching below elbow, moved with drive and reach, feet compact, both dew claws present on each foot, good length tail, beautiful presented, well handled.

1 Woolf, Sabre Golden Ticket Du Pyrdanti (Imp Fra) This boys head was beautiful blunt v, correct colour and shape eye with the intelligent contemplative expression great pigment, correct bite, he is of good height, length of back, nice curve to lower body, carrying the right amount of weight, medium angulation good bone, well handled credit to his owner.
2 Robinson Lisjovia Blue Lagoon, good head size and proportion lovely pigment, short neck, pasterns flexible not weak strong bone well muscled, good body, chest reaching below elbow, level top line, good spring of rib, prominent haunted, slightly sloping to rump, tail correct length, moved well, with drive.
3 Munson, Travis Bear Du Pyrdanti (Imp Fra) I loved this lad just lost out to top honour on age, his time will come, appealing head, great pigment, correct eye shape, colour, and ear placement fairly small level with eyes, healthy dentition, correct bite, body length correct to height, as allowed rear feet slightly turning out on the stand, moved well.

1 McBain, Lisjovia Flaming Drambuie for Wilmac 2 3/4 year old boy, head was stunning, correct lovely expression, nice eye, good pigment, correct bite, short neck leading onto a body with substance, ribs laid well back and reaching his elbow, coat of right texture, front legs straight and good bone and handled beautifully moved well coving the ring with ease.
2 Blair, Penellcy Bennington Bear broad head with nice expression, plenty of fill under the eyes, correct dentition, strong short neck broad chest, reaching below elbows, rounded ribs, good length of back, medium front and rear Angulation, muscular loins moved and handled well.
3 Dearman & Henson, Lisjovia Eternal Guardian for Pyrekees 2 3/4 year old coloured tail elegant and in proportion.good bone, with good anglelation strong hocks and flex in pasterns, great pigmentation lovely expression, move round the ring well. 

OD (12,2) WOW what a wonderful classes of quality dogs.
1/DCC, BOB, & Pastoral Group 2, Tijtgat & Akurassage, Be/Nl/Dk/Ch/Lu/De/Int Ch Qamar Du Grand Tendre, 6 year old. The dog and owner are a team, he is so happy his tail never stopped wagging all day, even in the big ring after a long day, His head is not over done in anyway, correct eye, ear, pigments, stop, totally balanced. Medium angles front and rear on tight feet, the muscular tone on this boy was superb, correct length of tail, good bone, correct coving to his chest, a appalling head correct eye shape and colour, balanced, so pleased to have stayed and see him awarded G2 so well deserved I have no doubt this boy will become a UK champion.
2 RDCC Pollard & Maggs, Ch Gillandant Thief of Hearts at Dewyche thank you for bringing this boy under me today 4 year old appealing head, nice eye shape and colour, great pigment, correct bite, short neck, good bone, medium angulation between upper arm and shoulder, lying close to body, medium angles on hindquarters that showed on the move, well muscled throughout body, presented in. Great condition.
3 Tijtgat & Akurassage, Be/Fr/Fi/Int Ch Piarrouye du was de Beauvoison, 7 year old what a lad of Great size, head was strong but not over done, lovely eye shape and colour, head forming, a blunt v looking from above, equal length from occiput to stop, black pigmentation, muzzle strong and medium, strongly built overall, balanced, straight level back of good length, chest reaching below the elbow, he was so well muscled all over .he moved with drive and purpose, he has a lovely noble bearing.

1/BGC (5th in strong Limit class) Challinor’s Shanlimore Marvin pleading dog, correct eye shape and colour, correct ear placement, good pigmentation good, level top line, sloping at rump, coat coarse as should be tail thick then tapering, nice bone, feet are arched and compact, correct weight, good muscle tone, moved well with his owner.
2 3rd in PG.

1/BV Thorne, Ch Belshanmish Pretty In Pink At Pyrajay ShCM ShCEx VW Ive judged this lady before and awarded her top honours, now 9 1/2 everything still applies, beautiful feminine head, a credit to her owners put out in pristine condition, excellent front and rear angulation, enough bone for her size She is very feminine moved round the ring so well the owner and the dog glided round the big ring.
2 Lisjovia Keep The Faith For Pafaxen 7 1/2 year old female, good head, short neck. great body with substance, great bone on this female .good angulation front and rear moved well, covering the ground well.
3 Barnes Kricarno Kornish Kaous at Patablanca a true lady nice head and expression good pigment with short neck, chest reaching below elbow, nice weigh good length of back, nice front and rear angulation, nice feet arched moved steady and was presented in good condition. 

PB (2) Both of these babies are stunning and I am sure they will be awarded top honours in the future.
1/BP Bamford & Church, Pafaxen A Million Dreams. As a pup should be, happy and bouncy, really enjoying her day, beautiful head, good pigment ears level with eye of correct shape and colour good bite, short neck, onto a body of size and substance, moved well when settle, looking up at her mum good.
2 Kenyon & Ward, Charibere Reason To Dream At Kaianna lovely female, she was a little unsettled, I did ask to move again and then she was steady, I noticed that the father is the same in both lovely ladies, I am sure they will change places, good body with great covering, coat in lovely condition.

1/RBCC Holmes & McBain, Polar light pride of America (Imp USA) a 14 month old who has a bright future, beautiful head great expression, strong muzzle of medium length, black pigment, tapering near tip, great body in length to height straight legs, angulation front and rear fantastic with good bone, correct coat texture and presented well, moved free and with ease handled well.
2 Stephens Aurandill Freya’s Thyra Just out of puppy this very pretty bitch good handling, beautiful almond shape eye, small ears with rounded tips, good body with just the right coving not fat, , level top line, medium angulation double dew claws on both rear feet moved well for one so young, in lovely clean condition, credit to owner.

1 Downs, Belshanmish Ocean Soul 2 year old female loved her head plenty of fill under the eye, good eye shape and colour, head forming a blunt v as viewed from above, close fitting lips with good pigment, a good size female with nice length of leg, good bone, medium angulation, chest reaching below elbow, back straight and level, moved well and presented in beautiful clean condition, well handled.
2 Kiss, Lierde De Alba De Los Danzantes EJW23 great head, breadth was equal, no stop, sides nearly flat of good depth, beautiful almond shape eyes, small ears body had good covering slightly rounded rib that went well back, forquarter and hind quarters are powerful of medium angulation, well muscled, moved with drive from the rear so free, handled well.
3 Cole. Gillandant Jasmine. I love this girl she is full of fun, reminded me of a young Boris, she is so pretty, lovely coloured head female, correct bite, black pigment looking into her correct colour and shape eyes, you can see fun, good angles both front and rear muscling up well, good length of rib laying well back, level top line, prominent haunches, nice bone, correct weight to height, she moves with drive and enthusiasm, bright future when she settles.

1 Ackx, Beltaine Miracle Luna of Mysticelysium. Tall female with a eye catching head, She had the pyrenean smile, definite forming a blunt v seen from above, well filled under the eyes, of correct shape and colour, healthy strong teeth, short neck onto a well muscular body, level top line gently sloping at rump, correct tail length that was thick at the root tapering, she had dance woolly pantaloons, correct coarse coat, moved really well with drive and reach, in this big class.
2 Dearman & Henson, Lisjovia Witches Promise for Pyrekees .strong head not to large without any coarseness, plenty of fill under eyes, has a great front and good bone, broad chest slightly rounded rib cage extended well to rear, she has nice muscle tone, a good coat of the right texture, that was well presented, moved well and with drive, she is nicely balanced.
3 Asher, Patablanca Phoenix, coloured female with lots to like, gentle stop, lovely colouring, ears small, triangular, with rounded tips, kind gentle expressions, great pigmentation her body is of the correct weight, her chest reached below elbow, good bone and level top line, her tail reached well below hock, both dew claws present on both rear legs, moved steady unhurried.

1/BCC & BOS Tijtgat & Akurassage, Toune De La Vallee Du Girou reminded me as soon as she walked into the ring of Ch Zalute Zolsteem of sophear, Beautiful famine head, with eyes that melt your heart, such a lovely expression, she is Tall with a great body in depth length and a level top line, she is elegant, has so much ring present, little did I no she was from the same kennel I awarded dcc to, handled to perfection, the handler and dog floated round the ring, with power from her hind quarters, she is so well muscled, but remains elegant, her tail raised in a circle as she became alert, finishing the picture, of a beautiful female, total honour to judge her.
2 Goodwin, Ch Lisjovia Adagio Avec Montmusique Jw OSW this female slightly smaller than 1, good honest bitch, lovely ear, eye placement, width and length of skull is correct, plenty of fill under eyes, short neck, good well conditioned body, medium angulation straight for legs good bone, moved well with drive from rear and reach presentation is a credit to the owners.
3 Bowker & Gibson, Ch Febus Anapeou her head had no stop, she has a beautiful expression, eyes almond shape of correct colour, close fitting lips she had a strong muzzle that tapered near tip, her body was well covered and the correct weight, profuse undercoat of fine hairs, nice feathering, presentation was 100 %, with a longer outer coat flowing, moved well just preferred front reach of 1 and 2.
