Judge :- Tim Ball

PD (1) 1 Kenyon & Ward’s Charibere Simply The Sequel At Kaianna. Quality 11 mth pup who is all male yet retaining the essential elegance of the breed. He was good to go over with strong neck of correct length to balance, firm back, chest of good depth, ribcage extending well back and developing well and tail good for both set and carriage. Masculine headpiece with no suggestion of coarseness, almond-shaped eyes of good colour, ears of correct set, strong muzzle, excellent pigmentation and correct dentition. Moderately angulated front and rear, standing on good feet and well muscled hindquarters with strong hocks. Moving well on the go around, driving well from the rear, good when going away but needs to tighten in front. Very well handled. RCC.
JD (3) 1 Kenyon & Ward’s Charibere Simply The Sequel At Kaianna. 2 Baverstock’s Kalkasi Wicked Spirit. 17 mth old who appealed for type and balance. Muscular neck, straight back, good depth of chest and ribcage carried well back, firm loin and tail correct for set and carriage. Pleasing head with almond-shaped eyes of good colour, ears set on level with the eyes, minimal stop, strong muzzle and good dentition. Moderate layback of shoulder, elbows of correct placement and firm, well-muscled hindquarters. Good profile action with drive from the rear but could be better when coming towards. Quality coat. 3 Hall’s Lisjovia Insomnia.
ND (1) 1 Hall’s Lisjovia Insomnia. 15 mth old who was placed third in the previous class and was quite different in type to the others in that class. Soundly constructed lad who carries good bone and pleased to go over. Fairly short, strong neck, firm topline, ribbed well back, good depth of brisket, firm loin, slightly sloping rump and tail set and carried correctly. Pleasing head with masculine expression, good eyes for shape and colour, minimal stop and strong muzzle. Lips could be closer fitting. Moderate angulation both fore and aft and standing on lovely feet. Moving out well with good self carriage.
PGD (3) 1 Baverstock’s Kalkasi Wicked Spirit. 2 Blair’s Penellcy Bennington Bear. 2 yr old who appealed for overall type and he presented a pleasing outline. Strong neck of correct length to balance, level topline, nice depth to chest, good length to ribcage, slightly sloping rump and tail good for set and carriage. Masculine head and expression with correct skull, very nice eye and ear, minimal stop and nice dark pigmentation. Moderately angulated front and rear but standing rather untidy in front which spoils the picture. Moving well when viewed in profile, nice firm rear action but not so good when coming at you. 3 Cubello’s Night Owl.
LD (2, 1) 1 Cubello’s Night Owl. 4 yr old who was rather out of coat on the day. Neck of correct length, firm topline, chest of good depth, slight slope to rump and tail good for both set and carriage. Quality head and expression with very good skull, minimal stop, eyes of correct shape and ears set on level with the eyes. I felt he was rather slight throughout and would have liked a tad more spring of rib and width in front. Moderately angulated both ends and he moved out well in profile with correct carriage, nice and true when going away but another who was not so good in front.
OD (3) 1 Reilly’s Ch/Swiss/Ir/Multi Int Ch Lisjovia Boris Bear at Darmaror JW ShCM ShCEx CW19. 5 yr old who I have judged before and today he was fully mature. All male, he impressed for size and balance, yet still retains the elegance of the breed. A pleasure to go over with strong neck, firm straight back, good depth of brisket, excellent ribbing, muscular loin, slight slope to rump and tail good for both set and carriage. Strong head with minimal stop, almond-shaped eyes of correct set, small ears set on level with the eyes, medium length of muzzle, good pigmentation and correct dentition. First class construction with moderate angles front and rear, standing straight in front on good feet. Gaiting freely with good drive from the rear and so very well handled. Quality coat and presentation. CC & BOB and pleased to see him later make the shortlist in the Group. 2 Holmes’ Lisjovia Takahashi. 5 yr old who is quite different to the winner but another with so much to like. He presented a well balanced outline with correct length of neck, firm level topline, chest of good depth, super rib, muscular loin, slightly sloping rump and tail carried low when in repose and curled over back when gaiting. Pleasing skull, almond-shaped eyes which could be darker, fairly small ears set on level with the eyes, strong muzzle and good pigmentation. Nicely constructed with moderate layback of shoulder, elbows of correct placement, compact feet and firm, muscular hindquarters with moderate turn of stifle. Moving in typical unhurried fashion. 3 Holmes’ Ch Lisjovia Estevez JW ShCM ShCEx.
SBD (2) 1 Blair’s Penellcy Bennington Bear. 2 Hall’s Lisjovia Insomnia.
PB (1) 1 Thorne’s Belshanmish New Sensation At Pyrajay. 10 mth old who I thought shows great promise. Feminine throughout she appealed for type and presented a beautifully balanced outline with fairly short neck, firm level back, good depth of chest for age, ribcage carried well back, slight slope to croup and tail good for length and set and carried perfectly when gaiting. Pleasing skull, lovely eye and ear, minimal stop, strong muzzle, nice dark pigmentation and correct dentition. She needs to broaden in front but she stands on good feet and is moderately angulated front and rear. Moving out well on the go around with confident carriage. Best Puppy. JB (1) 1 Thorne’s Belshanmish New Sensation At Pyrajay.
LB (3,1) 1 Baverstock’s Kalkasi The Eternal Chase JW. Two quite different girls challenged in this class with my winner being this 2 yr old. She presented a nicely balanced outline with strong neck of correct length, straight back, chest of good depth, ribcage extending well back and slightly rounded, firm loin, slightly sloping rump and tail of correct set. Quality head and expression with good skull, minimal stop, almond-shaped eyes of good colour, ears of correct set, close-fitting lips and good mouth. Well made all through, with moderate angles fore and aft, moving freely in unhurried fashion with particularly good rear action. RCC. 2 Wilcock’s Penellcy She’s Like The Wind. 2 yr old pure white girl who was nice to go over. Neck of good length to balance, pretty good topline, deep brisket, lovely ribbing, broad muscular loin, slight slope to croup and tail correct for set and carriage. Feminine headpiece with good skull, nice eye and ear, minimal stop, excellent pigmentation and correct dentition. Shoulders moderately laid back, nice compact feet and firm hindquarters with well muscled thighs and strong hocks. She can stand a little untidy in front. Moving well on the go around, so good when going away but a little wider when coming towards.
OB (2) 1 Baverstock’s Ch Kalkasi Super Cool JW. Feminine girl who is so very well constructed and as such, so good to go over. Strong neck of correct length to balance, straight back, deep brisket, ribcage of good length, broad well muscled loins, slight slope to croup and tail of correct set and carried well when gaiting. Lovely head and expression, almond-shaped eyes of good colour and set somewhat obliquely, ears set on level with eyes, strong muzzle, close fitting lips and nice dark pigmentation. Moving freely on the go around in typical unhurried fashion with good drive from the rear and true both coming and going. Good coat and so very well handled. CC. 2 Church & Bamford’s Lisjovia Keep The Faith For Pafaxen. 5 yr old of completely different type to the winner and heavier all through. She was good to go over given her correct construction with moderate angulation front and rear, nice straight forelegs, correct elbow placement, compact feet and firm, muscular hindquarters with lovely strong hocks. Strong neck of correct length to balance, straight back, good depth to chest, excellent rib, broad loin, slightly sloping rump and tail set on correctly. Feminine head but so very different to winner, slightly broader in skull, strong muzzle and nice dark pigmentation. Moving soundly but not using tail
