Richmond 2021
Judge :- Allyson King (Allyking)

Many thanks for the invitation to judge these breeds and the hard working committee to keep smooth running of the show and to my efficient stewards on the day. Many thanks for the entries, lovely to see a variation of colour markings and well-presented jackets with some in varying amounts of coats which is to be expected but there was some quality textured coats and coat comes and goes. I did find one or two loose in front pasterns especially coming to a free stand. Also found some a little narrower in width of chest, and a couple close in hocks going away.
PD (3,1) 1 Spier’s Belshanmish Midnight Magic, 9mth old lad, developing well at this stage for bone size make and shape. Good has desired width and dark eye of almond shape and good pigmentation. Good dentition and tidy jowls. Ample reach of neck and body is starting to muscle, ample bend of stifles and hocks with double dew claws. Moved out steady fore and aft and remained balanced. Later BP. 2 Kenyon & Ward’s Mr A Charibere Simply The Sequel At Kaianna 10 mth just slightly less bone and head development at this stage. Lovely dark eye and expression. Ample neck and shoulders and ribbing, overall developing well just needs to tighten all through as this showed when moving but will come.
JD (1) 1 Kenyon & Ward’s Charibere Simply The Sequel At Kaianna. Stood alone in this class. But should have a promising future once altogether.

Chest needs to develop for width and depth. Moving was weaker in front action and in pastern on a free stand than 1. Needs to strengthen through for a more fluid balance. 3 Carter’s Sketrick Pierre (AI)

PB (3,1) Here were two litter mates at varying stages of development. 1 Thorne’s Belshanmish New Sensation at Pyrajay (AY1) 9 mths still quite raw at this stage, but ample size make for age. Dark appealing eye and good pigment and ear set. Good bite Nice and jowls. Ample neck into shoulders but needs more width of chest as a shade narrow today. Good top line muscling starting to appear in thighs. Moving showed better hind action and ground cover than littermate. Excellent coat presentation as always from this exhibitor. 2 Williams and Hall’s Belshanmish Total Eclipse On the stand makes a nice silhouette. Not as advanced in bone but too needs more width and depth of chest and overall tone as 1. Kind dark eye of good shape and pigment. Needed more time to settle on the move and not hind action of 1.
JB (1) 1 Dearman and Henson’s Lisjovia Witches Promise for Pyrekees 14 mths Stood alone here, on the stand makes a feminine silhouette even a little out of coat but quality what she has. Lovely dark almond eye and appealing expression skull has slight furrow, muzzle has strength with correct dentition and well-fitting jowls. Neck flows into good shoulder placements and stands on good feet, chest has depth and width and good elbow fit. Top line slopes in to croup giving good tail set. Right amount of bend of stifle and tidy hocks and double dew claws. Moved well here fore and aft with balance. In the Challenge moved with more fluidity an balance and stood naturally without being stacked to take the CC. Her first, shall watch her future with interest.
PGB (1) 1 Carter’s Jumicar Sweet Lady Luck Good dentition and pigment of lips, dark eye of good shape. A little shorter in neck which showed in shoulder placements and angles. A little shorter in leg which showed in forward reach, hocks a shade close going away.

Neck flows into well placed shoulders and elbow fit. Stands on good shaped feet. Chest has depth and width. Top line flows into round rear with lovely bend of stifles and tidy hocks and double dew claws. Her jacket has quality in undercoat and outer with what she had today. Sound ground cover with balance and fluidity won her the class here. Pushed hard for CC but just a little less balanced but pleased to award her RCC. 2 Wilcock’s Penellcy She’s Like The Wind. Heavier boned than 1, but makes a good shape on the stand Not quite the neck of 1 and a shade more upright in shoulder. This showed in forward reach so not as balanced. 3 Tadd’s Kricarno Katchmeifyoukan
OB (5,2) In this class there were varying amounts of bone, size and movement. 1 Church & Bamford’s Lisjovia Keep The Faith For Pafaxen 5yr mature bitch Makes a good shape on the stand, Head a shade coarser than I prefer. Good markings and pigmentation and dentition. Nice neck into well placed shoulders and straight front legs and good feet. Firm in body and top line and croup gives good tail set and carriage. Movement here won her the class as had good balance ground cover fore and aft with ergonomic actions. 2 Thorne’s Ch Belshanmish Pretty in Pink at Pyrajay Sh.CM ShC 7 yrs. old Super Presentation and very feminine. Preferred her overall head properties than 1. Good neck and shoulder placements and stands on good feet. Firm top line and slope to croup giving good tail set. Going away was quite close in hock and not as free in action as one today. On another day this could be so different, but thoroughly deserves her titles just not on it today sadly.
